April 23rd @ 8PM…ESPN Nationally Televised Game

Purchase tickets for the METS game and show your Salem spirit with a shirt.  This is a nationally televised game and EVERY ticket holder will be allowed to go onto the field for the National Anthem.

A special message…we wanted to let people know that we had to pre-order these tickets in November and at that time this was a 1PM game.  This particular game was later chosen by ESPN to be televised and was changed without our control. We understand that it is late and difficult for those with younger children but we hope that most can still come out and stay for a little to enjoy the experience.  Thanks again for your understanding.

Click here to order your tickets online.
Last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, April 19th.

VOLUNTEER to distribute healthy, yummy samples on Wednesday, April 19th during the lunch periods (11:30-1:30).

Please email Missy @ melissahealthcoach@gmail.com

Hey there, campers! Who’s ready for an exciting camping adventure? Don’t worry, you don’t need a sleeping bag or tent for this expedition.  All that you need to do is join us from May 8th through the 11th at the Salem book fair! Keep watch for the visitation schedule coming home with your child, including Tuesday evening hours.

Sign up here to volunteer to work Salem’s activity booth on May 13th at Port Fest.  It should be a great event!

Please note that the Staff Luncheon is coming up on 5/18/17.  This week your child will be coming home with a donation form for the luncheon.  We will be accepting donations for specific food items or if you prefer we can also take a cash donation to purchase additional items that are needed.  Please fill out the form indicating what you would like to contribute and return it to school by Tuesday 5/9.  The luncheon is our opportunity to show our appreciation for all that the staff does for our children every day!  Any questions can be directed to Mandy Klarman at mlk203@hotmail.com or Bonnie Tanguay at jbctanguay@gmail.com.  Thank you for your assistance with making this a wonderful event for the teachers and staff!

PWPL and Port SEPTA present CREATIVE READERS for K-5th graders

Creative Readers is an inclusive literary enrichment program facilitated by Elise May. It’s a multi-sensory program that uses drama, crafts, art, movement and music to get kids hooked on reading. Each child is mentored by a teen buddy. This program offers a space for children of all abilities to socialize and work together creatively in a community setting.
Email Port SEPTA at: creativereadersinport@yahoo.com for an application or click here. Space is limited to 12 participants per group.
