As we enter our last months of school, we encourage you to look back at all the wonderful things the Salem HSA has done. We know it seems like a long time ago, but we had a Kindergarten Picnic, Fall Festival, Literacy Night, Cultural Arts experiences, Green Week, Author Visits, Salem Social, and so much more... You can be a integral part of this experience next year! Please take a look at the 2015/16 Volunteer Packet and Class Parent Application and see where you can help out. These forms are coming home soon, and can also be downloaded from our website: www.salemhsa.org. These FORMS ARE DUE JUNE 5th!
FATHER'S DAY SALE

Please help our library! Is May the month of your child's birthday? If it is, please go to our Salem library's website and see what books are needed in the library. Send one in with your child during his/her birthday week and he/she will take a picture with the book and it will be hung up on the Birthday Board! THE SALEM WALKING CLUB

Drop off the kids and join fellow Salem parents for an invigorating wallk! Bring a friend or meet new ones, as we enjoy the Spring weather and get in shape! Please meet at 9:30 AM in front of the school.

Join us for our 2nd playground workshop of the year! The goal is to help children participate in games that they learn and continue to play during future recesses. There is a quick training session with Mr. Shields at 11:10 AM on Wednesday, May 27th, right before the workshop begins. Please contact Julie Kozinn at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
Your child should have received the final SCRIP order form for the school year. Please consider ordering from SCRIP for end of year teacher gifts. What a wonderful and easy way to do your gift and household shopping, while earning money for Salem! The forms are due back on June 12th. Please put them in an envelope marked "SCRIP order" with a check made payable to Salem HSA. Your order will be ready to pick up on June 16th in front of the main office from 2:45-3:15. Questions? A Follow-up Discussion on Schreiber's English Honors Offerings

Learn about modifications to the English Honors offerings at Schreiber from Dr. Westervelt, Principal Pernick, and the Schreiber English Department.
